904L stainless steel welded pipes are produced from EAF-LF-VD refined steel coils, ensuring ultra-low carbon content (≤0.02%), precise alloy composition (Cr 19.0–23.0%, Ni 23.0–28.0%, Mo 4.0–5.0%, Cu 1.0–2.0%), and minimal inclusions.
ASTM A249 TP904L stainless steel pipes are manufactured using high-frequency induction welding and continuous forming technology, ensuring full weld penetration and uniform microstructure. Each pipe undergoes solution annealing at 1050°C followed by rapid cooling to restore corrosion resistance and eliminate welding stress.
Our 904L ERW welded pipes feature a PREN value ≥35, offering significantly superior resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion compared to 316L welded pipes. Mechanical properties include tensile strength ≥515 MPa, yield strength ≥205 MPa, and elongation ≥35%.
The available size range covers an outer diameter of 12.7–127 mm and wall thickness of 0.4–8.1 mm. Outer diameter tolerance is strictly controlled within ±0.005–0.015 inches, and wall thickness tolerance within ±10%. Each pipe undergoes 100% hydrostatic testing, eddy current testing (ASTM E426), flattening test, flaring test, and reverse bend test to ensure weld integrity. All products are supplied with EN 10204 3.1 certification.
