ASTM A358  TP316 Class 1 Stainless Steel EFW Pipe

ASTM A358 TP316 stainless steel electric fusion welded pipe adopts fully automatic double-torch electric fusion welding, with ER316L low-carbon welding wire (Mo≥2.5%), the weld composition is highly matched with the parent material, the penetration depth is uniform and there is no pores, and the weld tensile strength is ≥515MPa; short-term temperature resistance is 1050℃, and the creep rupture strength of 1000 hours at 700℃ is ≥65MPa, which is better than the 55MPa of ordinary 316 (ASTM A312).

Class 1/3 optional:
Class 1: 100% radiographic flaw detection (RT), detection of ≥2% wall thickness defects, suitable for nuclear-grade, high-pressure pipelines (such as petrochemical cracking units);
Class 3: Eddy current flaw detection (ET) + hydrostatic test, balancing cost and performance, suitable for conventional industrial pipelines.

ASTM A358 TP316 welded pipe heat treatment: 1020-1100℃ solution annealing to eliminate welding stress, ensure the elongation of the weld area and the base material is ≥40%, and there is no crack after cold bending 180°.
