What is 347H Stainless Steel Thin Sheet?
347H stainless steel sheet is austenitic stainless steel with a carbon content of 0.04-0.10%. Niobium (Nb) is added as a stabilizing element to significantly improve high temperature strength and intergranular corrosion resistance. It has stable performance when in long-term service at 500-850°C. After welding, its intergranular corrosion resistance is better than that of unstabilized 304H steel, and it is suitable for high temperature and medium corrosion environments.
Implementation standard: Sheet implements ASTM A240/A240M, the thickness range is usually 0.1-3.0 mm, and the surface conditions include 2B, BA, mirror, etc.

What is the difference between 347H stainless steel plate and 321H?
347H uses niobium (Nb) as a stabilizing element. Compared with 321H's titanium (Ti), niobium is not easy to burn during welding, and the stabilization effect is more durable, especially in the heat-affected zone. It has better resistance to intergranular corrosion; its high-temperature strength and creep resistance are better, suitable for long-term service in harsh high-temperature environments below 850°C, and there is no need to worry about the problem of titanium being easily oxidized and failing during welding.
How to avoid the risk of intergranular corrosion when welding 347H stainless steel cold-rolled plate?
Welding material selection: Match the composition of the base material, use ER347H welding wire or E347H welding rod containing niobium, and ensure that the niobium content in the weld is ≥10×C%.
