Product Introduction
SUS304 precision grinding plate uses JIS G4305 standard 304 cold-rolled plate (18Cr-8Ni austenitic stainless steel) as the base material, which is annealed to HV≤180 hardness to ensure uniform grinding; the grinding process is divided into three levels:
Coarse grinding: 120-240# grinding wheel removes oxide scale and defects, roughness ≤1.6μm;
Fine grinding: 400-800# sanding belt polishes to a matte surface (Ra≤0.4μm);
Ultra-fine grinding: 1000# and above grinding wheels are combined with diamond paste to achieve mirror-level accuracy (Ra≤0.1μm, some reach ≤0.05μm).
Advantages
After grinding, the surface of the 304 stainless steel sheet undergoes nitric acid passivation treatment, resulting in a 20% increase in passivation film thickness. The salt spray corrosion resistance time reaches ≥1000 hours (compared to 500 hours for regular cold-rolled sheets). Even under ≥90% humidity in cleanroom environments, the material shows no rust after 10 years of use.
The hardness is increased from HV180 to HV220, enhancing scratch resistance by 30%, making it ideal for precision instrument panels that require frequent cleaning. Moreover, the ground finish does not exhibit orange peel texture or micro-cracks after bending, making it suitable for complex structural parts such as precision instrument housings.
