What is astm a276 347H polished stainless bar?
347H stainless steel bar is a high carbon austenitic stainless steel (in accordance with ASTM A276 standard). By adding niobium as a stabilizing element, carbon is fixed to avoid intergranular corrosion. At the same time, the carbon content (0.04-0.10%) is higher than that of ordinary 347 stainless steel (C≤0.08%). The meaning of "H": stands for high carbon, which significantly improves the creep strength and sustained load capacity of the material at high temperatures of 600-1100°C. It is suitable for scenes that need to withstand high temperature stress for a long time (such as welded structural parts).
