UNS S21800 stainless steel bar supplied by GNEE is a high nitrogen austenitic stainless steel, also known as Nitronic 60 or Alloy 218, with a duplex structure of austenite + ferrite, 40% higher strength than 304 stainless steel, better resistance to chloride stress corrosion than 316L, stable mechanical properties in the temperature range of -40°C~300°C, outstanding resistance to hydrogen embrittlement, and passed ultrasonic flaw detection (UT) + intergranular corrosion (GCI) test, providing ASTM A276 material certification.
