What is 347H Stainless Steel Precision Bar ?
347H stainless steel precision bar is an austenitic stainless steel containing niobium (Nb), which is a high temperature hardened alloy ("H" stands for high temperature use, with a slightly higher carbon content to improve creep strength). The round bar is made by precision processing such as cold drawing, grinding, and polishing. It has high-precision dimensions, low surface roughness, and excellent high-temperature mechanical properties. It is suitable for precision parts with extremely high requirements for accuracy and high temperature resistance.

347H Stainless Steel Cold Drawn Bar Advantages
SS347H stainless steel CR bar is stabilized by niobium to avoid intergranular corrosion (must meet ASTM A262 Practice E test). It has excellent creep and oxidation resistance when used for a long time at 700–870°C, better than 304/321H.
SS3347H ground Cold drawn bar has good cold workability and can be drilled, turned, and ground. It is recommended to use high-speed steel or carbide tools when cutting. It has strict dimensional tolerances and is suitable for precision mechanical matching (such as bearings, valve stems, gear shafts).
