Introduction of stainless steel 309 structural channel
Stainless steel 309 structural channel steel is a hot-rolled or cold-formed grooved profile according to ASTM A276 standard, grade S30900, designed for medium and high temperature working conditions. Its high temperature oxidation resistance and carburization resistance far exceed those of ordinary stainless steel (such as 304), and it also has structural strength. It is the core material for high temperature scenes such as industrial furnaces and energy equipment.

309 stainless steel hot-rolled channel can be used stably for a long time in an oxidizing atmosphere at 870℃. A dense Cr₂O₃ oxide film is formed on the surface to prevent corrosion of the matrix. The short-term temperature resistance is up to 1150℃, and the temperature resistance performance is significantly better than that of 304 stainless steel with a temperature resistance of ≤800℃.
309 stainless steel channel has a tensile strength of ≥515MPa, a yield strength of ≥205MPa, and an elongation of ≥35%. It can withstand composite loads such as bending and shearing, and supports cold bending/hot rolling. It can customize 5#-30# standard channel steel (such as 100×48×5.3mm) and special-shaped sections to meet the needs of complex structural design.
Stainless Steel 309 U Channels costs only 60-70% of 310 stainless steel channel steel, but its temperature resistance is 80% of that of 310 stainless steel channel steel, which is suitable for medium and high temperature scenes with limited budgets.
