310S Stainless Steel Knowledge

Description

310S is a low-carbon, high-alloy austenitic stainless steel optimized for extreme high-temperature environments. It provides outstanding oxidation and creep resistance, superior to 309S.

Chemical Composition

C ≤ 0.08, Cr 24.0–26.0, Ni 19.0–22.0

Mechanical Properties

Tensile Strength ≥ 515 MPa, Yield Strength ≥ 205 MPa, Elongation ≥ 35%

Advantages

Excellent resistance to oxidation, carburization, and thermal fatigue. Much higher heat resistance than 304, 316, and 309S. Stable at temperatures above 1150°C (2102°F).

Applications

Boiler tubes, furnace chambers, radiant tubes, petrochemical high-temperature components.
