Overview: 310S is a low-carbon, high-chromium-nickel austenitic stainless steel, renowned for its ultra-high-temperature resistance. With higher chromium and nickel content than 309S, it is the top choice for extreme heat applications, offering exceptional oxidation and carburization resistance.

Chemical Composition (wt%): Chromium (Cr): 24.0-26.0; Nickel (Ni): 19.0-22.0; Carbon (C): ≤0.08; Manganese (Mn): ≤2.00; Silicon (Si): ≤1.00; Phosphorus (P): ≤0.045; Sulfur (S): ≤0.030; Iron (Fe): Balance.

Typical Mechanical Properties (Annealed Condition): Tensile Strength: ≥515 MPa; Yield Strength: ≥205 MPa; Elongation: ≥40%; Hardness (Brinell): ≤217 HB.

Core Advantages: Ultra-high-temperature resistance (continuous service up to 1150°C, intermittent up to 1200°C); excellent oxidation, carburization, and sulfidation resistance; good weldability and formability; stable austenitic structure at extreme temps.

Applications: Industrial furnace linings, radiant tubes, ethylene cracking furnaces, garbage incinerator components, high-temperature heat exchangers in petrochemical and power industries, and aerospace components.
