ASME SA789 SMLS (Seamless) UNS S32205 duplex stainless steel U-bend boiler tubes are specifically designed for the harsh high-temperature and high-pressure operating conditions of boiler systems.
We supply premium-quality UNS S32205 duplex stainless steel U-bends with a Pitting Resistance Equivalent Number (PREN) of 32–35. In chloride-containing boiler water, their resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion is over 50% higher than that of 316L stainless steel, with a corrosion rate of ≤0.06 mm/year at 150℃, fully compliant with the NACE MR 0175/ISO 15156 corrosion protection standards. These tubes can maintain stable operation under boiler working pressure up to 10 MPa and a temperature range of -50℃ to 300℃.
The seamless U-bend structure of UNS S32205 boasts excellent fatigue resistance, withstanding no less than 10⁶ cycles of thermal expansion and contraction without cracking, and thus perfectly adapts to the hot-cold alternating cycles during boiler startup and shutdown. In addition, the U-bend design features high dimensional precision (bending radius tolerance of ±5% and angle tolerance of ±0.5°), ensuring a tight fit with boiler tube sheets. Compared with welded tubes, it can reduce steam leakage risks by 40% and extend the service life of boiler heat exchange components by 30%.
