ASTM A312 TP304L Pickled and Annealed Stainless Steel Pipe

ASTM A312 TP304L seamless pipe is a type of stainless steel designed for high-temperature and corrosive environments. "ASTM A312" designates the standard specification for austenitic stainless steel pipe, and "TP304L" refers to a low-carbon grade of 304 stainless steel (often called 18/8 because of its 18% chromium and 8% nickel content). "Seamless" refers to the pipe's lack of welds and is typically manufactured by extrusion. Compared to standard 304 stainless steel, it offers improved weldability and corrosion resistance.

A subsequent pickling and passivation treatment creates a uniform, clean passivation film, resulting in a consistent, smooth glossy or matte passivation finish.

 

In addition, fixed lengths, multiple lengths, and random lengths are available (single or double end: plain PE end, beveled BE end, threaded TE end). Packaging options include moisture-proof paper wrapping and wooden crates, pallets, or protective plastic film.
