ASTM A789 / A790 S31803 , S32750, S32760, S31254 Duplex Stainless Steel Pipe
ASTM A790 UNS S32750 and ASTM A790 UNS S32760 are super-duplex grades. ASTM A790 UNS S31803 is the most widely used duplex stainless steel, offering excellent corrosion resistance and high strength. S31803 stainless steel pipe is typically used in corrosive and high-temperature environments.
ASTM A790 specifies welded and seamless pipe sizes in accordance with ANSI B36.19, with outside diameters ranging from NPS 1/8 to NPS 30 and wall thicknesses including Sch 5S, Sch 10S, Sch 40S, and Sch 80S. Other sizes are available upon request. ASTM A790 pipe's external and wall thickness tolerances must conform to ASTM A999. The pipe should be free of scale after pickling. Pickling is not required when bright annealing is used. Heat Resistance
Duplex steel grades have a good performance in high temperatures and can be used at least -50°C low temperature, better ductility than the ferritic and martensitic grades.
Heat Treatment
The solution temperature is around 1100°C, and rapid cooling.
