EN 10217-7 is a European standard that specifies the technical delivery conditions for welded stainless steel pipes for pressure applications. The standard covers a range of steel grades, including 1.4401 and 1.4404, commonly known as 316 and 316L stainless steels.

1.4404 stainless steel pipe supplied by GNEE is an austenitic stainless steel with high corrosion resistance and excellent mechanical properties. Welded pipes produced in accordance with EN 10217-7, 1.4401/1.4404, are typically used for conveying pressurized fluids. They are manufactured using a variety of welding techniques, including TIG welding, plasma welding, and laser welding. These pipes are available in a variety of sizes and wall thicknesses to meet diverse application requirements. In addition to the technical delivery conditions, EN 10217-7 also specifies testing and inspection requirements for welded pipes, including non-destructive testing (NDT) such as ultrasonic testing and visual inspection to ensure that the pipes meet the required quality standards.
