Grade 304H Stainless Steel

304H is the high-carbon version of 304, with carbon content of 0.04-0.10%, optimized for high-temperature service, providing excellent creep resistance and structural stability at elevated temperatures.

 

Chemical Composition (wt%): C:0.04-0.10, Cr:18.0-20.0, Ni:8.0-12.0, Mn≤2.0, Si≤1.0, P≤0.045, S≤0.030.

Mechanical Properties: Tensile strength≥515MPa, Yield strength≥205MPa, Elongation≥40%, Hardness≤201 HB.

Performance Advantages: Better high-temperature strength and creep resistance than 304/304L; same basic corrosion resistance as 304, but inferior intergranular corrosion resistance after welding than 304L.

Applications: High-temperature pipes, boiler parts, heat exchangers, furnace components, power plant equipment.

Equivalent Grades: AISI 304H, UNS S30409, EN 1.4306, GB 07Cr19Ni10.
