Grade 316H Stainless Steel

316H is the high-carbon grade of 316 (C:0.04-0.10%), designed for high-temperature service, combining molybdenum's corrosion resistance with enhanced high-temperature strength and creep resistance.

Chemical Composition (wt%): C:0.04-0.10, Cr:16.0-18.5, Ni:10.0-14.0, Mo:2.0-3.0, Mn≤2.0, Si≤1.0, P≤0.045, S≤0.030.

Mechanical Properties: Tensile strength≥515MPa, Yield strength≥205MPa, Elongation≥40%, Hardness≤217 HB.

Performance Advantages: Superior high-temperature strength than 316/316L; same corrosion resistance as 316; better creep resistance than 304H in high-temperature corrosive environments.

Applications: High-temperature piping, heat exchangers, boilers, petrochemical pressure vessels, power plant components.

Equivalent Grades: AISI 316H, UNS S31609, EN 1.4406, GB 07Cr17Ni12Mo2.
