Due to its high percentage of chromium and nickel, 310S has good creep strength and can operate continuously at high temperatures, demonstrating excellent high-temperature resistance.

What are the purposes?
Stamping molds, fixtures, tools, gauges, paper cutters, auxiliary tools, etc
What are the traits?
Improve the brittle properties of carbon tool steel to extend the lifespan of the tool. Vacuum degassing refined steel with stable quality. Good hardenability, oil cold hardening (less cracking and deformation), good toughness and wear resistance, and durable tools.
What is the difference between 310 and 310S?
Grade 310 is a medium carbon austenitic stainless steel suitable for high-temperature applications such as furnace parts and heat treatment equipment. The 310S level is a low-carbon version of the 310 level.
What is the difference between 304ss and 310ss?
The choice between 304 and 310/S stainless steel depends on the unique requirements and needs of the project you choose. Although 304 has excellent corrosion resistance and flexibility, 310/S has excellent oxidation resistance in high-temperature applications.
Is 310 stainless steel machinable?
The machinability level of 310 relative to AISI B1112 steel is 42%. When using high-speed steel tools, this is equivalent to a surface area of about 70 feet per minute.
