2205 alloy stainless steel hot-rolled plate (UNS S32205, EN 1.4462, ASTM A240/A240M) is a ferritic-austenitic duplex stainless steel plate with a precisely balanced 50-50 microstructure, exhibiting impact toughness of ≥100 J at -40°C and a PREN value of 32-36 (excellent pitting corrosion resistance in marine/chloride environments). It is manufactured through hot rolling followed by solution annealing at 1020-1100°C and water quenching. It is widely used in offshore oil and gas platforms, desalination plants, chemical equipment, and pressure vessels.
