GNEE can supply TP430 (UNS S43000) ferritic stainless steel seamless tubes in accordance with ASTM A268 / ASME SA268 standards. These tubes are widely used in heat exchangers, condensers, automotive exhaust systems, and piping systems exposed to freshwater and atmospheric corrosion.
The TP430 seamless tubes we provide are designed with low carbon and low nitrogen content (C ≤ 0.08%, N ≤ 0.05%). The standard outer diameter range is from Φ6 mm to Φ114.3 mm, with wall thicknesses covering SCH 5S to SCH 80S. Tubes can be supplied in the annealed condition, ensuring a tensile strength of ≥ 450 MPa and good ductility (elongation ≥ 20%), which prevents cracking during processing such as flaring, bending, and welding.
ASTM A268 TP430 seamless tubes have a thermal conductivity approximately 1.3–1.5 times that of 304 stainless steel, making them particularly suitable for heat exchanger applications to improve heat transfer efficiency. As they contain no nickel, their cost is significantly lower than austenitic grades such as 304 and 316L in non-strong oxidizing acids and various organic acid environments.
We guarantee that the chemical composition and mechanical properties of each batch fully comply with the relevant standards and provide an EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate. Upon request, additional inspection reports such as hydrostatic testing, eddy current testing (ET), or ultrasonic testing (UT) can also be provided to ensure reliable performance under pressure and corrosive service conditions.

TP430 must be annealed at a temperature of 1450°F (790°C) or higher, followed by cooling in air or a furnace to ensure maximum corrosion resistance and softness.
TP430 vs 304 Stainless Steel tube
If you're considering whether to choose 304 or 430 stainless steel pipe, 304 grade stainless steel (austenitic) is usually the preferred choice due to its excellent corrosion resistance and weldability caused by its 18/8 nickel-chromium alloy composition. However, 430 grade stainless steel (ferritic) is more affordable, magnetic, and suitable for mild, dry environments, but it does not contain nickel and has poorer corrosion resistance.

The tubes shall have a hardness number that will not exceed the prescribed Brinell and Rockwell hardness values, TP410, TP430 and TP439 max Rockwell hardness 90, Test report required certification conform to Specification A1016/A1016M.

Flange test (for welded tubes);
Hardness test;
Reverse flattening test;
