What is 304L Stainless Steel Bright Annealed Plate?
304L bright annealed sheet (BA sheet) is a matte surface sheet made of ultra-low carbon austenitic stainless steel (C≤0.03%) after vacuum annealing. The implementation standards include ASTM A240, JIS G4305, and GB/T 24511.

304 stainless steel BA plate is annealed in hydrogen protection in the annealing furnace, with a surface roughness of Ra≤0.4μm, showing a uniform matte effect (gloss 70-80GU), which is finer than 2B plate (Ra≤0.8μm) and more wear-resistant and fingerprint-resistant than 8K mirror plate (Ra≤0.2μm). Annealing treatment reduces internal stress and improves processing performance (smaller bending radius, less prone to cracking during stamping), while retaining the corrosion resistance and high strength characteristics of 304 stainless steel.
