What is SMO 254 cold rolled stainless steel plate ?
SMO254 stainless steel plate is a high alloy austenitic stainless steel, designed for extreme corrosive environments, with superb resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. Its cold rolled plate has high surface finish and excellent dimensional accuracy, and is widely used in marine engineering, chemical equipment and pharmaceutical industries.

What are the core performance advantages of SMO254 cold-rolled plate?
254 smo plate has a pitting/crevice corrosion resistance far exceeding 316L (pitting critical temperature CCT reaches 80℃, which is twice that of 316L), and can serve for a long time at a concentration of 1000ppm Cl⁻.
High strength of 6mo Plate: tensile strength ≥650MPa (30% higher than 316L), thickness tolerance ±0.02mm (0.3-1.0mm specification), supporting precision processing.
254smo Stainless Steel Coil has a solid solution elongation of ≥40% for processing, can be deep drawn and bent (minimum bending radius 1.5× plate thickness), ER2553 welding wire is recommended for welding, and no heat treatment is required after welding.
