The surface of our 310S 2B stainless steel sheets is produced through cold rolling, annealing, and pickling processes, resulting in a smooth and uniform finish free from oxide scale residues. The surface roughness is controlled at Ra ≤ 1.6 μm, providing excellent cleanliness and appearance. Compared with standard mill-finished products, our sheets offer superior flatness and are carefully inspected to ensure they are free from scratches, roller marks, pickling residues, and other surface defects.
For dimensional accuracy, thickness tolerances are strictly controlled in accordance with ASTM standards. Actual thickness measurements are taken and recorded at multiple points across the sheet width. For example, a nominal 2.0 mm sheet is consistently maintained above 1.95 mm, with thickness tolerance typically controlled within ±0.05 mm. This ensures excellent thickness uniformity from edge to center, minimizing material waste during fabrication and processing.
Designed for elevated-temperature applications, 310S stainless steel exhibits outstanding oxidation resistance and structural stability in environments ranging from 800°C to 1100°C. The material can withstand continuous service temperatures of up to approximately 1100°C and intermittent temperatures exceeding 1035°C, making it ideal for furnace components, heat-treatment equipment, thermal processing systems, industrial burners, and other high-temperature applications.
