ASTM A249 TP304LN stainless steel pipe introduction
ASTM A249 TP304LN stainless steel pipe is an ultra-low carbon austenitic stainless steel pipe strengthened by nitrogen (N), which complies with ASME/ASTM international standards and is designed for high-strength and corrosion-resistant scenarios. The yield strength is more than 30% higher than that of ordinary TP304L, making it an ideal choice for chemical, food, water treatment and lightweight engineering.

What is the difference between TP304LN stainless steel welded pipe and TP304L and TP304H?
Compared with TP304L: TP304L has no nitrogen and lower strength (yield strength ≥ 170 MPa), while TP304LN has a yield strength of ≥ 240 MPa, which is suitable for lightweight designs that require higher strength.
Compared with TP304H: TP304H has a higher carbon content (0.04–0.10%) and is used for high temperature strength (such as above 500°C), but its resistance to intergranular corrosion is slightly inferior to TP304LN.
