What is 302 stainless round bar ?
302 stainless steel bar (UNS S30200) is austenitic stainless steel, a high-strength derivative of 304 stainless steel, with excellent corrosion resistance, cold work hardening performance and mechanical strength, suitable for complex forming scenarios with high strength requirements. It has passed ISO 9001 quality certification and complies with international standards such as ASTM A276 and JIS G4303, and is widely used in machinery manufacturing, hardware accessories, architectural decoration, medical equipment and other fields.

The carbon content of 302 stainless steel round bars (≤0.15%) is higher than that of 304 stainless steel. The strength is significantly improved after cold processing (tensile strength ≥520MPa), while maintaining good resistance to atmospheric, fresh water and weak acid and alkali corrosion. It is suitable for high-stress environments and supports high-precision turning, drilling, cold heading, bending and other processing technologies to meet the needs of complex parts forming.
How to weld 302 stainless steel cold-rolled bars?
TIG, MIG and other welding methods can be used. It is recommended to use 308 stainless steel welding rods. No heat treatment is required after welding (non-sensitizing temperature range operation).
