ASTM A276 304 stainless steel bright bar is a hot-rolled bar stretched by cold drawing to improve dimensional accuracy, surface finish and mechanical properties. After polishing or grinding, the surface is smooth and free of oxide scale, and can be used for precision parts without additional processing.

What should be paid attention to when processing 304 bright annealed rods?
Stress relief: Residual stress may exist after cold drawing, and precision parts need to be stress relieved by annealing (about 200-300℃).
Cutting parameters: Due to the work hardening characteristics, it is recommended to use high-speed steel or carbide tools, low speed and high feed to avoid sticking.
Weldability: The surface oil needs to be cleaned before welding. It is recommended to use 308 or 309 welding wire, and no heat treatment is required after welding.
