What is astm a276 316l Bright Round Rod ?
ASTM A276 is a standard for stainless steel bars (round bars, square bars, hexagonal bars, etc.) specified by the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), which is suitable for machining and general engineering purposes.
316L stainless steel bars are austenitic stainless steels. "L" stands for low carbon. The carbon content is extremely low (≤0.03%). It has excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion and is particularly suitable for scenarios where heat treatment is not required after welding. It usually provides a bright (polished) surface with low surface roughness (such as Ra≤0.8μm) to meet high precision or aesthetic requirements.
